St. Mary's WEdding & Sweet CHeeks Winery Reception

I was thrilled to second shoot this amazing wedding with Stevi Sayler Photography.
It was one of the most elegant Oregon weddings I've ever been to, with every detail of the day carefully thought out.

We started out at the Hilton in downtown Eugene, where the ladies and guys got ready. I took photos of the girls while Stevi took photos of the boys. Everyone was full of such fun energy, making it all the more exciting to take photos of the preparations. The bride looked absolutely stunning as I walked in and saw her sitting in her makeup chair. Once she put on her wedding gown, a family heirloom, she looked even more spectacular!

Though the bride and groom didn't technically see each other before the wedding ceremony, they did read their vows to each other while on either side of the hotel room door. It was such a touching moment, and I found myself having to hold back tears as I took photos.

After the Hilton, we went to St. Mary's Church just a few blocks away for the ceremony. The church was so pretty and the Catholic ceremony was full of so many special moments for the bride and groom. It was truly a pleasure to capture all these moments for them.

We then made our way to the reception at Sweet Cheeks Winery. Wow! Now that was a fun party! The table decorations were carefully designed by the bride herself. There was also a live band, delicious food and a jaw-dropping wedding cake. The entire evening was full of love, elegant pageantry and lots of energy. My favorite moment was the generation dance where the bride's grandparents were the final couple on the dance floor and the bride handed her wedding bouquet to her grandmother.  Such a sweet moment.  It was one of the best receptions I've ever been to and I left feeling very happy.
