Oregon Coast Family Photo Session

I have known Heather since we were in kindergarten.  After high school, like with so many people, we fell out of touch and life moved forward.  Then...Facebook!   Heather found me a few years ago on there and sent me a friend request.  Yay!  I was thrilled to see she had an adorable daughter, Violet.  Miss Violet looked exactly like Heather did at that age.  So crazy!  I was even more thrilled when Heather asked me to do 6 year photos of Violet here in Eugene.  We met at a local orchard and had a great time!  We could have talked for days!  Violet was a natural in front of the camera too.  Such a cutie!

The next Spring, I did took photos when Violet turned 7.  These were at a private farm with a 100 year old barn, chickens, horses, a tree swing and a creek.  So fun!  Some of my favorite photos of a child I've ever taken.  I didn't think it could get much better.

This year, for Violet's 8 year photos, we decided to head to the Oregon coast for a retro styled shoot.  How fun!  Oh my goodness!  Heather loves vintage Coca Cola items and other vintage items.  Violet was a perfect model, as always, for this shoot.  You would never guess that it was very cold and very windy at this sunset shoot.  Brrrr!  I was freezing with my warm jacket on!  Poor Violet only had her cute little dress on.  She did great! 

The photos turned out better than I could have imagined.  Heather ended up with over 100 images!  This is just a small sample of those.  I'll quit typing now & let the photos speak for themselves.
