Hi there!
This is me, hanging out in central Oregon, camera in hand, as usual. This is my happy place. I grew up visiting my grandparents here and now, as an adult, I'm so happy to still have this place in my life. I live in Eugene full time now but run over to central Oregon pretty much any free weekend I have. My family still has property here & it pops up in many of my photos.

So, here I am. Me. The real me. I'm not overly made up. My hair isn't perfect...and that's me. Now...for weddings....yes, of course I put on nice clothes. earrings, and get dolled up, I promise! I tend to get dirty, climb on logs, get in the mud and yes, even fall in rivers (oops!) when taking photos. The more comfy I am, the better your photos are.
I love the outdoors, especially central Oregon, and I'm happiest when I'm casually strolling around, taking photos. I'm so happy you stopped by this page & want to learn more about me & my process. I'd love to learn more about you too!

About My Photography Journey
I've been obsessed with photography since I was a child. I used to chase the family cats around the backyard, taking their photos for hours. I became fascinated by nature and sunlight, especially in central Oregon, and how the combination of the two can lead to these magical moments. Nature photography is still a passion of mine and something I will always love.
I apparently also liked climbing trees but wasn't a fan of boats rides. Ha! Can we also admire my cowgirl boots and puffy jacket AND cowgirl boots and green pants? #fashiongoals
Once I replaced the family cats with real people, and saw how one little moment, caught on film (back in the day it was all film) could stir such strong emotions in myself and others, I was hooked! I became obsessed with waiting for the sky to turn golden or pink in order to catch the perfect light. I held my breath as I watched a groom see his bride for the first time & fight back the tears. I cried as I watched a baby girl, who was now a woman, dance with her father at her beautiful wedding.
My photography now is a combination of candid moments, emotions, movement and light. I do very little posing and believe the best moments, and photographs, happen when you just let everything unfold naturally.
I look forward to documenting your magical moments. Thank you for visiting my page and reading my story.
