Sit down. Relax. Put your feet up & get ready for the longest wedding blog I've ever posted. Wow! This wedding was full of so many amazing moments, lots of love…and lots of wine. I met Amanda & Aaron last summer over pints of beer at Falling Sky Brewery. I knew right away I liked them & couldn’t wait for the months to pass so we could enjoy their beautiful wedding. You can read more about that on their engagement blog here. On September 9th, the wedding day arrived & all I can say is that it was perfect. Totally perfect! The wedding took place at one of my favorite wineries, Sweet Cheeks, just a few miles outside Eugene. I often have a vision for weddings before the actual day and this wedding was spot on! A beautiful combination of casual elegance and fun. So much fun! When I think about this wedding all these months later, I still smile! That’s my take away from Amanda and Aaron’s day; happiness and smiles. Their friends and family were absolutely delightful and so much fun! I can still hear the laughter and joy of their guests in my head as I look at these photos. There were so many special moments on this wedding day. I could easily do many blog posts and post all 1,000+ photos. My personal favorite moments? Amanda’s first look with her dad. Oh my goodness! Happy tears. Amanda and Aaron's first look with each other. Awwwww. Such an intimate and special time before the main event. The ceremony itself. You could feel the love and joy pouring off of Amanda & Aaron on onto their friends and family. And the sweetest little flower girl ever! So cute! My heart was so happy watching and listening to their vows. The reception! Yes! So. Much. Fun! Beautiful toasts. Emotional speeches. Hugs. Tears. More laughter. As the night went on, the first dances had me fighting tears again. As I watched Amanda dance with her Dad, I looked over and saw Aaron hugging his mom, who was crying. This moment will forever be locked into my memory when I think of this wedding. I could go on and on but I’ll let the photographs speak for themselves. I simply loved this wedding and this couple so much. This wedding felt very similar to our own wedding and maybe that’s why I felt so connected to the day. Amanda & Aaron, I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to capture your special day. It was a true honor and I wish you years of love and happiness. Congratulations! -Lynn Marie Getting ready & details. Amanda's first look with her dad. Amanda & Aaron's first look. Bridal party, friends & family.
