Almost two years ago, my cousin, Torie, bought a gift certificate from me for her friends, Abbey & Clinton, so they could do a couple's photo session with me. Fun! Well, somewhere along the way, they got engaged (complete with a helicopter ride up the McKenzie River, champagne and a gorgeous ring!) So, their session with me turned into an engagement session. Yay! I love engagement sessions! I had a wonderful time taking engagement photos of Abbey & Clinton and their dog Aero too. I immediately felt comfortable with them, like we were old friends. We took photos until it was dark, with them in a boat on a private lagoon. It was beautiful.
Not long after their engagement photos, we were all at Torie's wedding when Abbey came up to me & asked me to photograph their wedding. I was so flattered! You see, even a year ago, I was still sort of nervous about wedding photography. The days are very long and the pressure of getting every...single...shot?! Phew! It made me nervous. Did I say any of this? Haha! No way! I think it was more like, "Really?! Okay! Awesome! Yay!" Over the next 11 months, Abbey & Clinton planned the most beautiful wedding at Sarver Winery here in Oregon, just outside Eugene. The wedding was absolutely perfect! I mean it. The weather was great, the location was gorgeous, Abbey looked amazing in her dress, Clinton looked handsome in his suit, the first look between Abbey & her dad was enough to make us all cry and...there was a horse in the wedding! A real horse! Abbey's horse and dog were both part of the wedding, which I loved. You could just feel the love these two have for each other and the love they have for their friends and family. I cam away from the day feeling very happy. I am honored they picked me to capture their wedding day. Special thanks to my second shooter, Jamie, for being another set of photographer eyes and capturing so many wonderful detail shots while I ran around like a crazy woman. Go team! I hope you all enjoy these photos, which are just a small sample of all of the amazing moments that took place on their wedding day. Enjoy! -Lynn Marie

You did an amazing job capturing their day. They look so happy and for some reason seeing men cry at their wedding tugs at my heartstrings.
