Engagement photos are one of my favorite types of photo sessions. It's so wonderful to spend time with couples and chat, take photos and really get comfortable together. Often, couples are nervous before their sessions...and so am I. No matter how many years go by, I'm always a bit anxious before a session. It's my little secret...that I guess isn't a secret now. However, every single couple had told me that by the end, they were having so much fun! Yay! This also relieves some of the stress for their wedding day. Engagement sessions are great practice for knowing what it will be like to have several cameras looking at you.
This session at Dorris Ranch was originally supposed to be at Mount Pisgah, following a huge snowfall here in Eugene. Sadly, Mount Pisgah was closed due to tree damage so Dorris Ranch was a great back up plan. Although none of us had planned on a snowy session, I think it really added to the photos so much. It was so cold but you can't even tell in these engagement photos. I can't wait for this sweet couple's beautiful June wedding at Ogren Gardens in Eugene! -Lynn Marie
