A Tasty Tour of Eugene - Engagement Photos

When Amanda & Aaron asked me to meet them at Falling Sky Brewery here in downtown Eugene, I was 99% sure they were an ideal wedding client for me.  Yummy beer?  Yes, please!   Sure enough, as we sat and chatted over great food and a few beers, I quickly felt like I was simply meeting friends for dinner.  In fact, we talked so long (3 hours I think?) my husband started texting me to see if I was okay.  Too funny!  I assured him I was having a great time chatting about wedding photography with this super cool and fun couple whose September wedding was planned for Sweet Cheeks Winery.  Are you sensing a theme with all of these yummy drinks?  Beer, a winery wedding in the works and then...

Hard cider!  Yes, a couple months later, we met at Ciderlicious cider and food cart in south Eugene to start Amanda and Aaron's engagement photos.  As we sat there in the evening summer sunshine, they pointed over to a 3 story condo just feet away and told me it was soon going to be their new home!  Surprise!  That was part of the reason for picking this location for their engagement photos.  So cool!   After a few photos in the grassy field behind the cider cart, we took photos on their new front porch.  Such an awesome and personal touch for engagement photos.  Loved it!

We made one last stop at the top of Skinner's Butte as the sun was setting over Eugene.  We didn't have any more drinks but Amanda found some delicious blackberries and we all enjoyed a few while overlooking the city.  The sunset was absolutely stunning that night and we ended with a few romantic shots as the sun slipped away for the night.   Perfection!
